Citizens for Clean Power's Annual Meeting
Citizens for Clean Power will be gathering for its annual meeting tomorrow, Saturday, January 24 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Parish Hall at Front & Mulberry Streets in Lewes.
CCP has been at the forefront of efforts to rein in emissions from NRG's Indian River power plant and promote clean energy. No group did more to bring offshore wind power to Delaware. I'm honored to have worked with these folks.
The meeting will cover hot topics for 2009, including the menacing pile of coal ash at the Indian River power plant, preventing further degradation of the inland bays, monitoring air emissions and Delaware's cancer clusters.

Thanks Tom, for your continuing support of CCP's efforts and those of hundreds throughout the state who demand clean air to breathe and a bureaucracy that will stop protecting polluters from serious accountability.
Who is going to be replacing John Flaherty in Dover?
John Flaherty told me at the above CCP meeting that he is continuing to lobby in Dover.
Perry Hood
Can Flaherty lobby while on the state payroll?
