Blogger Alex Tingle has posted a hack of Google Maps that demonstrates the effects of rising sea levels. This is what Wilmington would look like like if the sea rose 7 meters:

Being part of the reality-based community really sucks sometimes.
On the positive side, Delaware would expand its territory as the NJ waterline moves inland. Their damn BP terminal would end up entirely in Delaware...
